Zymewire is an application that facilitates sales opportunities in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector by coordinating sales team data with industry activity behind the scenes. It identifies highly-tailored opportunities for users so they don’t have to spend hours sifting through news and other information. Ultimately Zymewire gives a sales force the intel they need zero-in on prospects’ needs and speed up the sales process.
The company required a new website to explain and sell its services. It wanted a tone and manner that spoke plainly and in a jargon-free fashion about a rather technical offering.
In writing Zymewire’s website content, I wanted to create a brand voice that stood apart from the ultra-conservative, safe style of writing typically associated with Big Pharma and the life sciences industries. I was aiming for approachability, simplicity and a touch of wit, as a reflection of the young and disruptive nature of the business, and the people behind it.
